EDWARD LEHMAN APPEARS ON TELEVISION SHOW RELATED TO CHINA’S DRAFT PROPERTY LAW

Beijing, China – Mr. Edward Lehman, managing director of LEHMAN, LEE & XU, appeared on CCTV 9’s Dialogue, in an episode which discusses the new Draft Property Law, and its potential impact on China.

Of primary importance and cause for much debate is the provision for both public and private property, causing some to argue that this new draft goes too far in shifting China's national economy into an uncomfortable area which conflicts with the nation’s core political ideologies. During the interview, Mr. Lehman was, as a whole, encouraging of the draft law, commenting that it provides a stronger basis for the protection of individual property.
