WineMarketer.com Announces New Editor and Strategic Partnership to Bring Wine Marketing to the Web

October 05, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
WineMarketer.com, the online resource for wine marketing, SEO and advertising has announced a new site producer, Mark Spangler. With active community involvement and increasing site interest, WineMarketer.com aims to reinforce its original mission to foster the growth of online wine marketing.

Mark is the Product Manager for ClassicWines.com family of sites and a passionate Internet business development consultant. WineMarketer.com was originally created by a group of web marketers and wine industry professionals who wanted to form a collaborative effort to raise awareness for the online wine industry. Since their launch in late August 2006, visitors have shown interest in knowing who was behind the site efforts, and Wine Marketer wanted to address this. As a result, they have selected Mr. Spangler to be the new public voice and editor of the site.

In response to his new role Mark comments, “The online wine industry is a burgeoning market that has yet to mature. In the coming years, we are going to see marketing budgets shift from traditional means to strategic online campaigns. Wine Marketer provides an outlet for wineries, merchants and marketers to collaborate, learn and educate each other in this emerging market. I have worked in different areas of marketing and I find wine to be the most exciting, professionally and personally, to be involved with at this time. I look forward to the challenge”

Part of Mr. Spangler’s role will be as the featured editor of their wine/marketing newsletter ‘WineSEO.’ He also plans to heavily contribute to the on-site community and other wine marketing related efforts. “ClassicWines.com and WineMarketer.com are two separate developments I am working on in my professional career. While my experiences and comments will overlap between both areas of the business, my work with these two companies will not be in an effort of cross promotion. I truly want to be an effective force in helping this billion dollar industry become a successful Internet product, and I think my involvement in multiple outlets will allow me to do this.”
