AOS, Inc. Expands Real-Time Options Trading Capabilities at aosbroker.com

Online options broker AOS, Inc. (Chicago, IL) has released their next generation of web-based trading to provide clients more information and control for setting up, executing and managing stock and option orders.

AOS’ new Quick-Step Order Entry has minimized the number of keystrokes and mouse clicks required for setting up, validating and placing trades. Quote and order entry pages are dynamically linked to automatically populate order pages with the client’s desired trade. Automatic Quote Refresh systematically generates new quotes every five seconds and eliminates the need to manually refresh a page to get new quotes. The new Auto-Validation feature reviews orders prior to execution and flags impossible trades or account violations.

For trading stocks or options, clients select their preferred order action and enter the symbol and order quantity to place Market, Stop Market, Stop Limit, Market on Close orders. Clients can quickly link to full option chains to automatically enter symbols and current market quotes. Once a trade is setup, Quick-Step automatically generates and refreshes current market quotes, and identifies whether the account has any existing positions in the asset. Clients can then click on Bid or Ask to set initial pricing, and proceed to raise or lower their limit or stop price to set a desired bid or offer pricing. Real-time position and cash values ensure the client’s available equity meets the new order requirement.
Under the new Order Status page, clients can check real-time status of any pending or executed order for the current trading day. Viewable order details include time-and-date, average pricing (if filled by multiple executions), order ID, and more. Select which orders to view including Completed, Cancelled or Rejected. Clients can take additional action such as Cancel/Replace.

“Options traders constantly seek time savings and greater access to real-time information so they can make informed trading decisions quickly,” said Jere Wickert, president of AOS, Inc. “By minimizing keystrokes and manual processes, we’re meeting traders’ demands to know the current status of their positions and buying power throughout the trading day. This latest upgrade is a continuation of AOS’ drive to provide more value to our clients.”
