Make a timely donation. Venus II Restaurant Marks 30th Anniversary with Time Capsule

October 11, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Lifestyle News
Venus II is encouraging the public to contribute to their “30 Years of Venus II” time capsule by donating items with historical significance dating from 1976 to 2006.

Have photos of you and your friends dining at Venus II in the “early days”?

Are you in possession of one of Marshfield’s Town Reports? Have a newspaper that details local events such as the Blizzard of ‘78 or significant world events such as elections, disasters, the Olympics, and so on? Or, how about donating a token from the Boston Red Sox’s World Series coup or from one of the New England Patriot’s Super Bowl wins?

Bring your donations for Venus II’s time capsule to the restaurant located at 277 Ocean Street. Venus II will attach a donation card to each item that will reference the item’s date and name of the donor.

“We’re excited to celebrate Venus II’s 30th anniversary by commemorating it with a special time capsule. It’s a great way to bring people in the town together and reflect on the past 30 years,” David Drosopoulos, manager of the family-owned Venus II.
