Telecoms Newspaper Breaks Content Landmark

October 23, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
cellular-news, a wireless telecoms focused online publication announces that it has signed a new content supply agreement with the leading telecoms industry statistics analysts, The Mobile World.

Cellular-news will publish selected analysis from The Mobile World’s weekly Briefing on their popular online news service, giving their readers in-depth insight into the latest mobile market trends and developments.

This agreement follows on from a joint marketing agreement between the two companies, which enabled cellular-news readers to have access to selected up-to-date statistics from The Mobile World Database relating to mobile network operators and markets around the world.

Cellular-news.com also announced that today, the online newspaper expects to break a content landmark, after it publishes its 20,000th news article.

Just five years after being set up, the website now publishes an average of 30 news articles every day aimed at business leaders in the telecoms market.

An extensive archive of news articles is permanently available to researchers, along with databases and reports.

In addition to news about the happenings in the industry, cellular-news is fast becoming one of the top locations for jobs seekers – with its large database of job advertisements and recruitment companies seeking qualified engineering staff.

The cellular-news job center (http://www.cellular-news.com/recruitment/) has the same international focus as befits the web site’s existing news coverage, and at time of writing has mobile telecoms jobs advertised for nearly 50 countries.

John Tysoe, MD of the The Mobile World, commented, "Throughout this year clients of The Mobile World Database have benefited from our weekly Briefing, which provides focused, in-depth comment and analysis on the latest trends emerging in the mobile sector. By extending the scope of our agreement with cellular-news we hope to give readers real insight into the key statistics in the industry as they emerge each week".

Ian Mansfield, editor of cellular-news.com said, "cellular-news has built up a reputation for global news coverage and our readership reflects that focus with visitors from a large number of countries. With more news providers joining the site each year – the next publishing landmark will happen even sooner than we could have originally hoped.”
