Boston Writer Announces Launch of Independent Copywriting Business

Local writer Susan Landry is proud to announce the launch of her new writing business - offering professional, creative and copywriting services to area businesses and individuals. Susan is targeting the Boston and Providence regions and surrounding areas as prospective clients. Her goal is to help clients improve sales and also improve their business image.

"I've been writing fiction all my life," Susan stated, "and in the past couple of years I've been lucky enough to work at a marketing agency. It’s been a great learning experience; I’ve gained experience writing copy for websites, advertisements, and email marketing campaigns. At this point, I'd like to combine what I’ve learned with my passion for writing to provide a quality service to area firms. Too few business owners realize that poorly constructed copy can actually hurt their sales! The average consumer is bombarded with a thousand marketing messages per day - companies want theirs to be the one that sticks. I can help make that happen. She also provides editing and proofreading, as well as ghostwriting - where Susan's background as a published short-fiction writer comes into play. “Ghostwriting” is behind-the-scenes writing - when a writer is hired to conceptualize and write a piece of fiction or non-fiction for another party – novel, short story, essay or article – but is not publicly credited as the author.

Susan is a 1996 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Bridgewater State College with a B.A. in Psychology. She has had her short fiction published in several online and print venues.
