New Website Concept - Hire out your personal items and make money with MyPrivateHire.com

October 31, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Why sale your personal items for a 1 off payment, when you can hire out your goods on an ongoing basis for a regular residual income.

MyPrivateHire.com is now represented online, according to Philip Locke, owner and operator of the website, as a new concept to give anyone the ability to make money from items they may otherwise have sitting around.

He said the site serves as a valuable resource for those not wanting to sell items.

“Why sell your motorbike for £300 on the likes of eBay, when you can retain ownership of it, hire out at £150/week and over a 4 week period make double what you would have sold it for.”

Locke goes on to say, “This is not seen as being a competitor to eBay, but another outlet for individuals to make money from their personal items with the backing of pre-prepared hire agreements from the website.”

Initially and for a short time only, the website is offering individual’s unlimited items to be added to the website free of charge. “This will help get the site out there and promote the idea/concept”, he said. Users of the site post the details and images of their item online and can then be reached privately via email by interested parties.

The concept came about when Locke tried to hire a laptop for a short 3 day period, “Firstly I had trouble finding a laptop to hire for such a short period, I was then asked by a colleague if he could borrow my golf clubs - £30 for the weekend. This is where it all started to come together and I thought this could possibly be a money making opportunity for everyone.”

Once promoted and the website becomes know, it will also offer a valuable opportunity for businesses to gain exposure through advertisements, he added.
