Kitchen-Cabinets-Design.com Announces e-Book Recall

November 02, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Lifestyle News
Recent changes in the housing and remodeling industries have forced Kitchen-Cabinets-Design.com to announce a recall on all of its popular series of e-Books it publishes. The decision was made by KCD President, Damion Rutherford, on Tuesday.

"These recent changes affect the information we give to our customers. It's just not as accurate as it once was, and we have to do something about that", Rutherford said.

Rutherford also added that "…the e-Books will still contain great information for our customers. The useful tools to help through the remodeling process, tips on hiring a contractor, and local company reviews will still be there. The biggest change will be in the how, what, and why of our remodeling recommendations. This is the information that was affected by market changes. And that is what we're working on to update."

Rutherford concluded by saying "For the first time in history, rents are less than half of mortgages. Salaries are not increasing at the rates of home values. Salaries will only be able to support mortgage payments in the short term, with adjustable interest-only rates. This is extremely important for anyone remodeling their kitchen. Based on the homeowners situation, the remodel may be a wonderful investment, or something to reconsider."

Anyone who has previously purchased all or part of the KCD e-Book series is eligible to receive the updated information at no charge. Anyone who has not previously purchased an e-Book will be eligible to do so once the information is updated and re-released.

The expected re-release date has been set at November 30, 2006.

KCD has updated its e-Book order page, and interested parties can request the updated e-Book information at www.kitchen-cabinets-design.com/ebooks/
