Don and Candy Weaver of RE/MAX Central once again put their mark on real estate sales in the Cadillac area. Their sales of over $5 million helped them in winning the prestigious RE/MAX 100% Club Award given out at the RE/MAX of Michigan Annual Regional Conference last month.

“Winning the award is nice,” said Candy, “because it recognizes the knowledge and service we bring to our clients. As full-time professional real estate agents, Don and I both know the stress that is involved in buying and selling a home. It’s the largest purchase most people make in their life. Our job is to make it as stress free as possible.”

With over 25 years experience each in working with the public, Don and Candy have developed many great marketing techniques, including aggressive advertising.

“The days of just putting a listing in the MLS and running a couple newspaper ads are long gone,” said Candy. “Studies by the National Association of Realtors have shown that over 70% of buyers begin their search for a home on the internet. They are looking for more than just a picture and how many bedrooms it has. They want multiple pictures, information about the schools their children will be attending, what’s the neighborhood like. In order to present our clients homes, we’ve expanded our website, www.TheWeaverTeam.com, to include more information, including virtual tours, which allow the buyer to have a more realistic view of the home than just pictures. We’ve also added links to not just the area schools, but also to the reports from the Standard and Poor’s School Evaluation System that are done for the State of Michigan.”

“Candy and I pride ourselves on the fact that we are full time real estate professionals”, said Don. “We believe that when people are relying on us to help them sell their home, they deserve the best job we can do. You can’t provide that level of service if you sell real estate as a hobby.”
