Combining the Sound of Rap Plus Rock Equals LX: Living in X-Zile

Washington, DC November 16, 2006 – LX, “Living in X-Zile”, is an impressive artist influenced by many diverse experiences. A military brat, born in Germany and raised in Washington DC, began his musical journey at the age of 5 by learning to play the piano by ear. Since then, LX has mastered a sundry of instruments: Guitar (both acoustic and electric) Bass, Trumpet, and including a little Sax. To this day, LX does not read music but relies on his ears and emotions to make the mixture of sound that emanates within.

LX’s sound is a distinct blend of his musical influences from the raw sound of DC Go-Go bands, Hard Rock, to soulful R&B that he heard growing up in Southeast DC. At the young age of 22, LX has had numerous accomplishments. He has played with a few of the local Go-Go bands to include DC's own CCB (Critical Condition Band), produced beats for Flipmode’s “Rampage” while also being a freelance producer, and is the founder of Warpath.

LX has used the ever so popular website Myspace.com to build an insatiable fan base. His beloved music and lyrics are the mirror of his soul and are the enigma of uniqueness and genius. In early 2006, he released his album "Eternity: The Rebirth", a CD mixed with Rock and Rap, and inspired by the good and bad times of his life. LX has just returned to the studio to begin production on a new album “Exile”, which will include new songs to showcase his creativity and unmatched talent as well as inclusion of re-worked popular songs from “Eternity: The Rebirth”. This album, to be released Spring 2007, will prove to be a musical entity to be reckoned with by gaining countless new fans while satisfying scores of existing fans alike.
