Virtual Iris Seeking eBay Merchants for Focus Group

November 17, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Los Angeles – Last month, Virtual Iris announced the Beta launch of its Irisize.com website. The site allows anyone to convert digital pictures into rich-media displays that can be used in e-mail and on the internet without the need to learn how to do any complex programming. The site includes an eBay Turbo-Lister that automatically inserts “Irisized” pictures directly into eBay auctions.

The company is finishing up work with its first focus group of consumers that it organized through MySpace and is now putting together a new test group that will focus on the creation of pictures to be used on the eBay website.

“The first focus group has been extremely helpful to us,” said Jim Malmberg, vice president of business development for Virtual Iris. “It has resulted in some major design changes to make Irisize.com easier to use and has given us a tremendous amount of information about our users. We expect the new focus group to provide a similar treasure trove of information about the way people use us on eBay.”

Virtual Iris is seeking 25 people or companies to participate in the eBay focus group. All participants must regularly list items for sale on eBay and all will be asked to list at least ten items on eBay through the Irisize.com website. In return for participation, users will be given a premium account on Irisize.com with 1,000 free uses of Irisize’s eBay lister, and 1,000 free images.

Anyone interested in participating in the focus group should contact Jim Malmberg directly at 818-728-1100
