Comfortex Appoints New Director of Warehousing and Transportation

MAPLEWOOD, NY - Comfortex Window Fashions, a leading innovative manufacturer and fabricator of custom window treatment products for global distribution, has appointed Mike Porter to the newly created position of Director of Warehousing and Transportation.

Mike will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations and transportation for all of the company’s operating centers, including the two Maplewood, New York facilities and the Phoenix, Arizona and Melbourne, Florida locations.

Mike has been employed at Comfortex Window Fashions since 1998. Prior to his promotion, he served as the Warehouse Distribution Manager at the Elm Street and Avenue B facilities in Maplewood. He is currently working toward his Bachelors Degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.

Mike Porter resides in Clifton Park with his wife and children.
