CML Appoints New Distributor

CML Microcircuits today announced that SE Spezial-Electronic AG has been appointed the new distribution partner for Germany and Austria. The agreement encompasses CML’s complete range of Wireless and Wireline Communications semiconductors and brings together two European semiconductor industry veterans.

Commenting on the decision, CML Group Business Development Director, Chris Gurry said: “CML are positioning ourselves technically and commercially for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead within our target market areas. SE has extensive market-reach within Germany and a lengthy track-record in the supply of ICs for specialist electronic applications. Their customer service and logistics capabilities backed by extensive market knowledge and technical expertise are all key factors in expanding CML’s presence in the region”.

Spezial’s Board commented: “We are very pleased to represent CML Microsystems in our territory. Their extensive range of semiconductor products for the communications market enables us to address new areas of designs and technology. CML’s perfect product quality, combined with SE’s design driven mentality will enrich the German telecommunications market. Above all, SE will add its high standard in customer services to the cooperation, so both companies will use their genuine strengths to win the design-ins”.

Both CML and Spezial-Electronic exhibited in Hall A5 at Electronica 2006 in Munich, where the latest range of CML communications ICs were showcased.
