Nashville, TN - Legendary guitarist and songwriter, Grammy nominee and Dove Award winner Phil Keaggy is offering his Nashville fans a chance to hear him perform live with a free concert on Saturday, November 25, 2006, at the Notable Café (8321 Sawyer Brown Road, Nashville, TN 37221). The event will run from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and will feature selections from Keaggy’s latest project, Roundabout, and his upcoming new vocal album, Dream Again. For more information about this concert event, please call 615-646-9116.

One of the world’s and Christian music’s most beloved master musicians, Keaggy has enjoyed immense success over his career, which has spanned more than three decades. Having first entered the music scene as the co-founder and guitarist for ‘70s power group Glass Harp, Keaggy has since released close to 50 albums and has made appearances on countless others. Widely recognized for his guitar playing, he has received numerous accolades and awards for his music, including seven Dove Awards and a Grammy nomination. Keaggy continues to sell out concerts all over the US with his ever-changing style, ranging from rock ‘n’ roll to fully orchestrated instrumental compositions.

Keaggy’s latest project, Roundabout, which was called a "looping masterpiece" by Guitar Player Magazine, displays his mastery of live electronic ‘looping,’ which allows him to combine the sounds of multiple guitar parts, using only one acoustic guitar, to create a cool indie-vibe that you definitely don’t want to miss. All of these memorable and orchestral compositions blend both art and technology, which allows the listener to experience the twin emotions of joy and amazement. A genre-defying 18-track project that fuses elements of rock, blues and jazz, Roundabout is the culmination of Keaggy’s nearly 30-year love affair with looping technology.

Dream Again, Keaggy’s first new vocal project of original compositions in six years, releases on January 30, 2007. Dream Again is definitely a family affair, including songs about Keaggy’s family and close friends, in addition to those that come out of his own struggles and experiences. "The album was inspired by people in my life who are near and dear to me," Keaggy says of Dream Again. "It’s a relationship album—about our relationship with God and with those who are near in our lives."

Roundabout and Dream Again are available on Strobie Records and distributed through TAG Artist Group. For more information on Phil Keaggy and his music, visit http://www.philkeaggy.com.
