December 01, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Clifton Park, NY - December 1st, 2006 - Suffolk Software –- A new resource for webmasters looking to announce the launch of their website is now available.

The Web2.0 movement has empowered people to build websites, and they are in droves. Everyday seems to bring many new interesting website launches to the Internet. The latest survey from Netcraft puts the number of websites at over 100 million, up from just 18,000 websites in 1995. The survey also showed that in the last month alone 3.5 million websites were launched.

"Tired of missing all the latest website launches I started Launch Feed," says owner Mubashar Iqbal. "Launch Feed is a website and companion RSS feed, for the distribution and archiving of the latest website launches."

With a free account, users of Launch Feed can submit their website launch details for distribution. The launch details will be published on the website and distributed via an RSS feed. The distribution service is currently free for all users.

Launch Feed is itself a Web2.0 website, built by Suffolk Software. The community is a very important part of Launch Feed. Users posting announcements will drive the content, and comments & reviews will provide insight on the website launches.

Webmasters are encouraged to join Launch Feed to announce their website launches, and all Internet users are encouraged to subscribe to the RSS feed to stay abreast of the latest in website trends.

Launch Feed can be experienced at http://www.launchfeed.com
