Richard Meyer of A.W. Perry obtains SMA Designation

BOMI’s SMA professional designation is widely recognized within the building industry. Meyer earned SMA designation after completing advanced training in the management of environmentally sound, energy efficient and cost-effective building systems. He was previously designated as a Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT). Meyer, who has been with the A.W. Perry team for nine years, oversees maintenance and operations of building systems and build-outs of tenant spaces. He is currently overseeing the upgrade of an HVAC system at one of A.W. Perry’s properties on the South Shore.

Meyer holds a Construction Supervisors license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and has been licensed as a Refrigeration Technician for more than 20 years. Meyer is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and also the Building Trades Association. He received his professional training at Northeast Technical Institute and the Peterson School for Steam Engineering.
