GrandCanyon.com Starts Third Grand Canyon Travel Poll

Page, Arizona, December 5th, 2006 – GrandCanyon.com has begun conducting its third Grand Canyon travel-related survey. Like the company’s first two polls, the purpose of this survey is to reveal specific characteristics of those planning Grand Canyon vacations.

In the current survey, which appears on the company’s Grand Canyon blog, respondents are asked to identify their gender and age group. Participation is anonymous and takes only a second of one’s time. GrandCanyon.com president, Karlyn Bunting says, “We’re curious to see who’s doing most of the planning of the typical Grand Canyon family vacation. Is it Mom or Dad? Are the kids getting involved, or maybe the grandparents? Is our site being used by more women than men, or is it equal? It’s important information.”

GrandCanyon.com conducted its first Grand Canyon travel poll in August of this year, asking which season of the year was most popular for Grand Canyon vacations (autumn was the #1 choice). In October, the company launched its second poll, which asked about the group dynamics of would-be Grand Canyon National Park visitors (not surprisingly, couples and families dominated the responses).

GrandCanyon.com conducts one-question surveys on topics related to Grand Canyon vacation planning every other month. To participate in the current Grand Canyon travel poll, visit http://news.grandcanyon.com
