Join ‘The Virtuous Women’, Dr. Taffy Wagner and Ms. Bettye Jamerson, co-hosts of the Literary Corner podcast, this Monday, December 4, 2006 when they discuss the effects of bullying on children and the importance of proper teen mentorship and guidance.

Hosts Taffy and Bettye start off the hour on the Literary Corner with a candid discussion about the bullying problem that is so prevalent in the school system today. They interview a guest who speaks about her child’s experience with being bullied in school. Bettye then shares a very personal story of her own involving her son’s victimization at the hands of school bullies. This conversation lays the groundwork for Carol’s book ‘Mentoring Teens’.

Carol L. Miller has been involved in family advocacy and literacy training for low income families since 1977 and served many years as program director for post-secondary education preparatory programs for youth. She has also been a staff trainer, case manager and family counselor for foster care placement agencies that work with at-risk adolescents. Currently tutoring educationally at-risk secondary students, the author lives in Fort Collins, Colorado.

A teacher, advocate and mentor for at-risk adolescents, Miller draws on her years of experience working with all kinds of students to create this comprehensive and helpful manual.

Ms. Bettye Jamerson and Dr. Taffy Wagner are published authors and public speakers. The have a wealth of experience in the publishing and promotion arena. Dr. Wagner is the author of 'Debt Dilemma' and ‘Homebuyer’s Helper’. Ms. Jamerson is the author of 'Love: The Greatest Choice of All', and 'For the Love of Beulah: Finding your Purpose in Life'.
