Tampa, FL - In an industry-recognized international achievement, Academy Leader, Inc. and Cheap TV Spots (www.Cheap-TV-Spots.com) is honored to be named a Gold Award Winner in the 2006 MarCom Creative Awards.

The winning campaign, “Taste the Noise,” is a three-commercial TV campaign introducing a podcasting web destination for the age 12-34 market. The campaign aired on Fuse TV and Current TV to national audiences.

“No other podcasting web sites have considered a debut on TV, but we found that the synergy between traditional media and the web is a potent boost to ROI,” said company president, Ann Clark. “We feel that this award helps set us apart from common online ad agencies in another way. It affirms that we are capable, not only of creating a stand-alone, great-looking TV commercial, but also executing an orchestrated marketing campaign for internet start-ups on a budget.”

The MarCom Creative Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The judges of the MarCom Creative Awards are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. Entrants came from the United States and several foreign countries.

A few weeks ago, Cheap TV Spots dispelled rumors that it had been in talks to acquire rival online ad agency, Spot Runner. “We have made alliances with a number of complementary advertising related companies, and are scheduled to open two new divisions, next month,” said Clark. “Spot Runner does not seem to have the creativity or agility that we look for in potential partners.”

"Cheap TV Spots" and the three-dogs logo are a registered trademark of Academy Leader, Inc., a multi-faceted media company spanning the internet, TV, radio and film venues. Cheap TV Spots has won 42 national and international awards for its original commercial productions, including 5 Telly Awards.
