Asian Atelier Puts Kebaya in Center Stage at the Singapore Fashion Week

According to Alin Anuar the Managing Director, Asian Atelier’s participation at the Singapore Fashion Week emphasized on Kebaya by Chantiq Skaly and Tinong as she believes that the Kebaya has greater potential and with the right exposure it has the ability to be accepted abroad not just as a traditional wear, but also as a casual, chic and fashionable wear like how Cheongsam and Kimono is accepted in the international fashion scene.

The Singapore Fashion Week provides the publicity needed with interviews from few regional publications such as Asia Fashion TV, Epoch Times and Style Sight to name a few.

Asian Atelier (International) manages young Asian designer labels from Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia ranging from couture and bridal Kebaya, work attire, to compliment the bridal and couture attire look, Asian Atelier recently collaborated with an American handbag designer for the modern vintage handbag line.

The company was established in year 2000 with its headquarters in Singapore and offices in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. The aim of the company is to grow and promote the labels at international level through tradeshows and exhibitions.

Asian Atelier (International) currently has 3 fashion labels under its wing such as Chantiq Skaly and Tinong Kebaya, Workaholics’ and the collaboration work with Ms Nikita Masters from the US for the Nikita-Lynn handbag line.
