GLENS FALLS, N.Y. December 6, 2006 – Mannix Marketing, a Web design, development and marketing company announces the recent hiring of Mark Mannix as Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Mark is responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and leading all aspects of the company’s technology development. Mark joined Mannix Marketing to aid in building the company’s strategic direction, and development with a focus on the future growth of the company’s tourism main tourism portals: LakeGeorge.com, Saratoga.com, Albany.com and Adirondack.net.

As Chief Technology Officer, Mark leads the execution of technology strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships. He helps to build and manage a top-flight technology team and oversee research and development, while also providing visible leadership for the company within the tech community. Mark also anticipates and reacts to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape.

Mark worked as Senior Systems Programmer at Blue Shield of Northeastern NY before leaving to join Mannix Marketing.
