Bartlett joins Melrose orthopedic practice as Nurse Practitioner

Larah Bartlett, a certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner and a resident of Quincy, Massachusetts, has joined Orthopedic Surgery, Inc. in Melrose, the company announced today. Bartlett will serve the practice in the newly created position of Nurse Practitioner.

Previously, Bartlett was a nurse practitioner at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, Mass. Her prior experience in the urgent care setting also includes positions with Cambridge Health Alliance, the Swampscott Treatment and Trauma Center, and Beverly and Mount Auburn hospitals.

Bartlett holds a master’s degree in nursing from Simmons College.

“Larah’s substantial experience in managing the pre- and post-operative care of adult surgical patients in collaboration with other medical and surgical professionals will be a welcomed addition to our practice,” said Denis P. A. Byrne, M.D., president of OSI.

Founded in 1969, OSI provides a range of non-surgical and surgical treatments in the areas of sports medicine, joint repair and replacement, arthritis related conditions and major trauma care. The practice serves patients in numerous North Shore communities from offices in Melrose, Medford and Wakefield.
