With a focus on vendor accountability and responsibility, the system empowers vendors to manage their contact information and enter their own contract payment data. This eliminates double entry and the time-consuming task of filling out and mailing monthly reporting forms. Coupled with integration to a government’s financial system to automatically exchange contract payment information, the time savings for government staff is significant.

“It is great that vendors now have access to a system like MWDBE.com,” says Justin Talbot-Stern, Chief Executive Officer of B2Gnow. “One of the greatest benefits of our service is that it is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. This means that small business owners can submit information to the governments and their prime contractors at more convenient times.”

MWDBE.com and DBEsystem.com were launched on February 23, 2005, and all clients using B2Gnow software in a hosted environment were moved to those services. As the first client, the City of Houston began using the software on July 1, 2004.
