Nashville, TN – Legendary guitarist and songwriter, Grammy nominee and Dove Award winner Phil Keaggy will be joined by fellow Grammy nominee and Dove Award winner Wayne Watson to share Christmas music and stories with Monica M. Schmelter, host of the popular daily television program "Bridges." During the "Bridges" episode, Keaggy will relate Christmas memories from over the years and perform the Christmas classic "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and "Coventry Carol," one of two Keaggy cuts on the new Autumn Records album, Christmas Treasures, A McPherson® Guitars Instrumental Collection. The show will air at 9:30 a.m. CST on December 21, 2006 in the Nashville, Tenn. Market, with a repeat broadcast at 6:30 p.m. CST. CTN stations in the Knoxville, Tenn.; Tallahassee, Fla.; Dubuque, Iowa; Columbus and Macon, Ga. markets will air the episode at a later time, and viewers are encouraged to check their local listings for the exact date and time in their area or visit http://www.ctnonline.com.

One of mainstream and Christian music’s most beloved master musicians, Keaggy has enjoyed immense success over his career, which has spanned more than three decades. Having first entered the music scene as the co-founder and guitarist for ‘70s power group Glass Harp, Keaggy has since released close to 50 albums and has made appearances on countless others. Widely recognized for his guitar playing, Keaggy continues to sell out concerts all over the US with his ever-changing style, ranging from rock ‘n’ roll to fully orchestrated instrumental compositions.

Keaggy is gearing up for the January 30, 2007 release of Dream Again, his first new vocal album of original compositions in six years. Dream Again is definitely a family affair, including songs about Keaggy’s family and close friends, in addition to those that come out of his own struggles and experiences. "The album was inspired by people in my life who are near and dear to me," Keaggy says of Dream Again. "It’s a relationship album—about our relationship with God and with those who are near in our lives." Dream Again follows on the heels of Keaggy’s critically acclaimed instrumental "looping" project, Roundabout, which released November 7, 2006, and was called a "looping masterpiece" by Guitar Player Magazine.

Roundabout and Dream Again are available on Strobie Records and distributed through TAG Artist Group. Christmas Treasures, A McPherson® Guitars Instrumental Collection is available on and distributed through Autumn Records.
