Albany, NY - Apprenda, an Internet software development firm, has announced plans to make available a Software as a Service Platform for Independent Software Vendors.

"We're building the foundation for the future of software as a service. Our goal is to provide vendors with business value by simplifying the SaaS development process and reducing the amount of capital required to run business as a SaaS provider," said Sinclair Schuller, the firm's CEO.

Apprenda says the platform will give independent software vendors a business and technological foundation to build, deploy, and monetize their service-oriented applications for on-demand use without technological lock-in. Through Apprenda's platform, software vendors will build powerful SaaS business models with maximal flexibility.

Apprenda's co-founders Sinclair Schuller and Matt Ammerman also maintain www.saasblogs.com, a blog that discusses business and software development in the SaaS market.

More information regarding Apprenda's SaaS Platform will be made available in the coming weeks. Those interested in subscribing to a newsletter may do so at Apprenda's website, www.apprenda.com.
