Wallcoverings Receive Attention from Acclaimed TV Host

CHICAGO –WA spokesperson Robert Verdi, television host of Discovery Channel’s “Surprise By Design” and the only personality on television to uniquely blend home furnishings with fashion, is making two special appearances on behalf of WA and the entire wallcoverings industry.

Recently, Verdi appeared at the 2005 Annual Convention in Palm Dessert, California. He offered his thoughts about utilizing wallcoverings and trends in design, was available for a question and answer session, and spent the rest of the evening socializing with WA members.

Look for Verdi at NeoCon on June 15, 2005, where he will reside as the keynote speaker for more than 450 interior designers and design professionals. Specifically, he will discuss trends in home design for 2005, while highlighting the importance of wallcoverings as a fashion-forward choice.

In addition, Verdi will participate in a Satellite media tour on March10, 2005, sponsored by the Kotchen Group, a satellite media tour company based out of West Hartford, Connecticut. The editorial segments will focus on baby nursery trends, high-end kids’ décor for less, and foolproof ways to use colors and patterns while using wallcoverings as the foundation for the tour. The tour was downlinked to 26 markets nationwide.

By promoting our industry, celebrity decorator Robert Verdi will help reintroduce wallcoverings to consumers who are longing for an interior change to their residence.
