SAVANNAH, Ga. - Buy Local Savannah, the Downtown Business Association and the Savannah Area Tourism Leadership Council have joined forces to present Celebration of Service, a special tribute to customer service, on January 18, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront, 100 General McIntosh Blvd.

The event includes a luncheon as well as a keynote address by nationally-acclaimed guest speaker Ed Horrell, the best-selling author of The Kindness Revolution: The Company Wide Culture Shift that Inspires Phenomenal Customer Service and More Than Words: Nine Silver Rules for Powerful Yet Considerate Communication. Celebration of Service will also feature awards for outstanding customer service for local businesses that have made a difference.

Tickets for Celebration of Service are $30 for members of Buy Local Savannah, the Downtown Business Association or the Tourism Leadership Council and $40 for non-members.
