Association of Steel Distributors Names 2005 Board of Directors

CHICAGO— The Association of Steel Distributors (ASD) recently announced its 2005 Board of Directors at the Annual Conference located in Palm Dessert, California, March 5-8, 2005.
The new president of ASD is Doug Everheart, vice president of Camden, Ohio-based Wyoming Steel. Previously, Everheart served the ASD Board of Directors as executive vice president.
“Doug will be an excellent leader for the association, as well as the 2005 ASD Board,” said Ron Pietrzak, ASD executive director. “He is an extremely passionate, dedicated industry professional, and I look forward to working with Doug at this level.”
Everheart replaces 2004 president Steven Bergman, president of Premier Steel, Inc., Engelwood, New Jersey. Bergman now assumes the role of immediate past president on the 2005 Board.
Dominic Vitucci, Jr., vice president of Vitco Steel Supply Corporation, Posen, Illinois, will now assume the role of executive vice president for ASD.
Robert Pelles, president of Premium Metals, Inc., Cleveland, Ohio, has accepted the position of treasurer.
Jim Barnett, president of Grand Steel Products, Inc., Farmington Hills, Michigan, replaces Vitucci’s previous position, assuming the role of central region vice president.
William Feniger, president, Universal Metals, LLC, Toledo, Ohio and Joe Piazza, Jr., manager of market development, Cleveland Ohio, are both new to the Board and will represent the central region.
