Violence In Children's Video Games Not Welcome

Web developer, Lina Kompaneetz, is on a mission to help families find safe, PC-oriented games without all the violence and aggression associated with today’s more popular games with her new, child-friendly gaming site Click4Clue.

"I'm seriously bothered by the violence in computer games. Our children get enough violence through television shows, movie releases, and life. Do they really need to be assaulted with shootings, slashings, killings, racism, and bullying?" asks Kompaneetz.

Click4Clue was designed as a safe-haven for children, parents, seniors, and singles. It's a place where gamers can enjoy fun games that challenge their thinking and won't cause their computers to crash.

Families should have options when it comes to choosing gaming environments. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere can provide unexpected possibilities: like grandparents participating and playing web games with their grandchildren. The whole site is about making such options available.

Click4Clue offers:

Casual web games free of downloads, plug-ins, or viruses.
The ability to select different scenes like a beach or cottage scene in Click4 Numbers.
Visual stimulation through hide 'n seek games like Artistic Challenge.
Knowledge testers like finding the correct answer in Historical Mystery.
Replay value through various game scenarios, like those found in Historical Mystery and the Click4-Logic games.

"The launch of Georgian Tales, with over 70 locations to visit, is the most anticipated game of the year," Kompaneetz says. "The new game has taken 2 years to develop and will not only allow our visitors to experience longer playing times, but will challenge their thinking."
