Dr. Jerry K. Popham saw a need to provide his patients with a safe, convenient, high-quality alternative to inpatient hospitalization. He designed Park Avenue Surgery Center exclusively for short stay surgery, so he could offer patients a convenient, comfortable and less costly alternative to a hospital. He knew that the increased level of individual attention would minimize the stress often associated with surgery.
