Atlanta based Peopleintheknow.com (www.peopleintheknow.com), is sponsoring the ultimate Business to Business “Meet and Greet Networking Session” for small business owners and freelancers. People In The Know is doing something very unique. They are hosting this networking session over the phone, through 1000 port teleconferencing line.

The advantage of hosting a networking session over the phone versus a physical location is that it allows business owners to leverage their time. There are no locations boundaries, which signify entrepreneurs across the country, can participate in the networking session regardless of their physical location. In addition, an attendee can participate in the session from their home, office, or anywhere they can access a phone.

Peopleintheknow.com is on a roll this year. They have already rolled out a free business directory for business owners and freelancers to advertise their business at zero cost on their site. Now, Peopleintheknow.com is taking it a step further. It’s sponsoring what it calls the ultimate networking session free of charge to business owners.

When asked why they decided to sponsor such an event, Bobby Ellis, a consulting executive at People in The Know, responded by saying, “There are so many business owners out there today who could benefit from knowing one another. Having access to key people in business is generally the deciding factor between success and failure. We want to do all we can to help every business owners succeed. That’s our goal.”

A person can register to participate in the networking session by going to peopleintheknow.com or by emailing your name, business name and phone number to events@peopleintheknow.com. Upon registering, the business owner will receive the teleconference phone number and a pin number to call into the networking session. In addition, the owner will receive an agenda of the session the day before the call. The networking session is expected to last for 90 minutes.

During these ninety minutes, each entrepreneur will have one minute to introduce themselves, their company, services and products. It is highly suggested that the person uses the last 10 seconds to deliver contact information such as: their name, phone number, and website address. The format has proven to be the most effective strategy to getting additional business.
