Alexandria Potomac Little League to give away free registration packets League prepares to launch 2007 season

Alexandria, VA - Alexandria Potomac Little League, one of the fastest growing youth baseball and softball organizations in the United States, is preparing to launch their 2007 season by distributing free registration packets to all families throughout Alexandria.

"We feel very strongly about giving families throughout our area free registration packets," said league president Paul Delaney III. "Our free registration packets give families the ability to have their children be part of one of the best youth sports programs in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. People demand free registration packets and we will make sure that they each get one."

Families can get free registration packets from participating public and private schools in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County in mid-January, as well as on site at Mount Vernon and Lee Rec Centers beginning on Saturday, January 13, 2007, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Registrations will continue on all Saturdays, January and February, through Saturday, February 17, 2007.
