New Company Helps Students Achieve Success – Minus Anxiety, Depression and Insomnia

BUFFALO, NY —Maria Pascucci, a 28-year-old web entrepreneur, recently launched Campus Calm ( to help stressed out high school and college students reach success without suffering the ill effects of anxiety, depression and insomnia.

In 2001, Pascucci graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York with a 3.92 grade point average and knows how much stress being an overachiever can cause in a student’s life. According to a 2004 survey by the American College Health Association, nearly half of all college students report feeling so depressed at some point in time that they have trouble functioning, and 14.9 percent meet the criteria for clinical depression.

“I want Campus Calm to empower students to choose to make their health a priority and to look at the big picture before they graduate,” said Pascucci.
