BERKELEY, CA – January, 2007 – Stone Bridge Press is proud to announce the January release of Divining the Asian Zodiac: Ancient Guide to Life and Love, written, illustrated and some might say, divined by Fumio Shiozawa. This full-color, in-depth exploration of Asian astrology includes horoscopes, personality profiles, compatibility charts, and Zodiac animal fables.

The ancient astrologers who invented the Asian Zodiac believed each of us has a destiny that guides the way we feel and act. Explaining the influence of birth years, in the forms of animals and their related attributes and stories, Shiozawa helps readers discover their own paths into the future. Perfect for the Chinese New Year, birthdays, and any time you’re feeling curious.

Fumio Shiozawa was born in 1955. An illustrator and art director, he designed the poster for Sting’s Save the Rainforest campaign, and has produced and designed books by Japanese authors such as Kazufumi Miyazawa, Taro Okamoto, Nobuyoshi Araki, and Seizo Tashima. In 2003 he illustrated the picture book Kaishin no Hime (Divine Sea Princess; au. Toshiko Okamoto). He also plays percussion.
