MILWAUKEE (January 12, 2007) – Metrix LLC, a leading innovator of service management and mobile business software, today announced the addition of Tom Bowe as their new vice president of product marketing and engineering.

In his new role, Bowe will lead Metrix’s marketing and engineering organizations, with responsibility for enhancing and extending current product capabilities, identifying new market opportunities, increasing Metrix’s global presence, and leading all development efforts across the company.

“This is a statement hire for Metrix. Attracting top talent from a world-class, Silicon Valley company like Oracle tells you who we are and where we are going,” said Larry Laux, CEO of Metrix. “Tom brings a wealth of knowledge to Metrix, with proven ability in software development and product strategy. We are very excited to have him join our management team and will leverage Tom’s expertise in creating high-impact, high-quality and easy-to-use enterprise software which will increase the value we provide our customers.”

Bowe holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University and a Bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University. Prior to joining Metrix, Tom was director of product marketing at Siebel, the undisputed market leader in CRM that was acquired by Oracle last year. He was hired in 1998 to create a new product line called Siebel Field Service and subsequently built it into a $50 million business over four years. Prior to Siebel and Oracle, Tom worked 10 years at GE Healthcare.

“I’m thrilled to join Metrix and contribute to the company’s growth and future success,” said Bowe. “This year is an inflection point, not only for Metrix, but also the software industry as SOA and RIA technologies are embedded into next generation products. Metrix is a long-time leader in the service lifecycle management space so I knew going into the interviews Metrix had a tremendous amount of functionality. What I didn’t know is their depth of domain knowledge, their flexible mobile architecture, their customer successes and their low implementation price. A 1-to-1 ratio between the amount customers pay for the software and the consulting services required to go-live is a huge competitive advantage. I learned Metrix has some truly disruptive technology and will be a force to be reckoned with very soon. I cannot think of a better place to be right now.”
