OC Pavilion Announces February Events

The OC Pavilion and Ambrosia Restaurant (www.ocpavilion.com) are pleased to announce the February lineup of events. The OC Pavilion is home to an intimate 529 person capacity theatre and the 5-star, world class restaurant Ambrosia.

Chris Williams and The Jazz Nightlife Renaissance – February 3rd
The OC Pavilion is pleased to welcome the return of Chris Williams and his seven-piece ensemble, The Jazz Nightlife Renaissance. Chris Williams is touted for his vibrant stage presence and performs jazz styles straight-ahead, latin jazz and bebop and while consistently putting new twists on old standards. Chris makes the music solely his own and is known for unique and inventive interpretation of the music. His seven-piece ensemble features well-known, local jazz musicians. The concert begins at 8:00 PM and doors to the OC Pavilion and Ambrosia open at 5:00 PM.

Candy-O: A Tribute to the Cars – February 10th
The first and ONLY Cars tribute band, Candy-O recreates the total 80's vibe of the new wave rockers from Boston. Covering The Cars' big hits as well as some other favorites in a show that amplifies the terminal cool of The Cars. Fronted by a tall, gaunt Ric Ocasek look alike, Candy-O is a MUST SEE! Catch a ride to the era that was all about fun and enjoy the sound and vision of the 80’s. The concert begins at 8:00 PM and doors to the OC Pavilion and Ambrosia open at 5:00 PM.

Valentines Day Dinner at Ambrosia – February 14th
The World Class Ambrosia Restaurant offers a romantic 4-course meal while being serenaded by the sounds of live jazz. The menu offers a choice of four distinct entrees, including Pan Seared Petite Filet, Artic Char with Forest Mushrooms, Lamb Chops and Cornish Game Hen. The restaurant is open from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and dinner reservations are strongly recommended.

Gabble Ratchet: A Tribute to Genesis – February 17th
The sounds that defined generations are brought to the stage once again as Gabble Ratchet pays tribute to the legendary rock of Genesis. From from Gabriel-era classics like Supper's Ready to the Collins-era hits like Turn It On Again and Land Of Confusion, Gabble Ratchet’s powerful tribute is one that can’t be missed. Formed in 1999 by five talented musicians who had a common love for Peter Gabriel and the sounds of Genesis, Gabble Ratchet has been performing throughout Southern California ever since. The concert begins at 8:00 PM and doors to the OC Pavilion and Ambrosia open at 5:00 PM.

The Laff Pack – February 24th
Known to many as the Baby Boomers of Comedy, a Laff Pack show is a unique blend of stand-up comedy, music, dance and video production making it more than just five funny stand-up comedians. Long time friends, The Laff Pack share a comedy kindred that portrays magically throughout their fast paced ninety-minute show consisting of five distinct personalities and styles of comedy. The comedic event begins at 8:00 PM and doors to the OC Pavilion and Ambrosia open at 5:00 PM.

The Vault VIP Lounge is open before and after each theatre performance, offering appetizers, drinks and desserts featuring a live jazz trio. On show nights, Ambrosia is open starting at 5:00 PM. Dinner reservations are highly recommended.
