Controversy Sparks Interest in Big Brother Car Registrations

Regtransfers.co.uk, the UK’s largest personal car registrations company, has seen a sudden surge in the interest surrounding Big Brother themed number plates. Customers and visitors to the Regtransfers.co.uk website have been asking about Big Brother plates and, in many cases, suggesting car registrations that might be appropriate for the celebrities in the house.

A spokesman said that, while the company always expected a slight increase in themed enquiries during any high-profile media event, the level of interest in Big Brother-related plates had come as a surprise.

Controversy over the treatment of Bollywood star and AIDS campaigner Shilpa Shetty by some of her housemates has dogged this season of the show.

As well as B16 BRO (surely the ultimate Big Brother plate for fans of the show, admirers of Owell’s novel 1984 from which the show’s name was taken, or anyone with a political point to make about state surveillance and interference), Regtransfers.co.uk has received numerous suggestions regarding car registrations that would suit the contestants.

CL 30 was suggested for Cleo Rocos, and LE 05 AYR for Leo Sayer. A4 RGU was suggested by one caller for Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd or Shilpa Shetty, three contestants who have had differences of opinion during the series.
