Boynton Beach, FL: Rosalind Sedacca, CCT, author of the upcoming ebook, How Do I Tell the Kids about the Divorce? A Fill-in-the-Blanks Storybook to Prepare Your Children – with Love!, was chosen among five finalists in an Internet Marketing essay competition. More than 120 entrants submitted essays on why they were the Ideal Candidate to receive tutoring on blogging and other internet marketing techniques from The Blog Squad. The five finalists won 13-weeks of mentoring from Denise Wakeman and Patsi Krafoff, Psy.D, The Blog Squad Ladies, via live internet radio and follow-up teleseminars. The public was invited to vote for one individual to be mentored live on the radio talk show. Rosalind came in second place.

Rosalind’s winning essay and audio message are available at the website, www.bloggingandbeyond.com. Her “storybook” concept, based on her own experience, prepares parents for one of the most difficult conversations they will ever have. The
customizable template guides parents in preparing an attractive family storybook that children will want to read. The pictures and age-appropriate language conveys, with love and compassion, the five key messages parents need to share with their children.

What makes her book unique is that it doesn’t just tell you what you should say — it says it for you! It also includes commentary and support from six professional therapists experienced with divorce and mediation. Their contribution to the book is immeasurable in assisting families as they face the challenges ahead.

Why should parents prepare a storybook — in advance — to help them break the news about separation or divorce? For the same reason they prepare for a family vacation, a big party or the birth of a baby. Planning simplifies the process and helps avoid regrettable mistakes. Is this life-altering conversation any less significant?
