January 25, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Health News
Bellevue, WA—Jan. 25, 2007— Pharmacy OneSource, Inc., pharmacy's #1 documentation and formulary software as a service provider, will demonstrate the antibiotic surveillance capabilities of their new Sentri7 application during the upcoming HIMSS '07 Annual Conference and Exhibition.

Demonstrations of Sentri7 will include:

— Setting up of rules for alerting pharmacists to possible clinical interventions.

Examples of rules that can be set up in Sentri7 include: Antibiotic review when culture and sensitivity reports come back, Medicare CMS quality indicators like surgical prophylaxis stopped 24 hours after surgery, or EPO in Renal Failure Only and much more.

— Present how the Sentri7 automates the review of lab, medication profile and patient demographic information against the pre-defined rules.

Setting up Sentri7 doesn't take a computer science degree either! With Sentri7 you easily build rules on the fly or in advance with an intuitive point-and-click interface.

— Show how easily Sentri7 works together with Quantifi, our popular clinical documentation offering.

Pharmacy OneSource will be in Booth 2874 during the meeting, which runs from Feb. 25 through March 1 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
