MEMPHIS, TN. Commercial Bank and Trust announces the addition of three new bankers in the bank’s Memphis operations. Gerald Wade, Dana Burkett and Amanda Chatellier, all formerly with Bank of America, have joined Commercial Bank and Trust.

Andy Pierotti, President of Commercial Bank and Trust, welcomed the new team saying, “We typically hire experienced, successful bankers and allow them to do what makes them successful. Our officers essentially run their own business and we’ve added three who have the capabilities to do that very well.”

Gerald Wade will focus on private banking. He has 25 years of banking experience, much of it in the area of private banking and investments. Mr. Wade also served as market president at his former bank and managed various market related activities for its lines of business.

“At Commercial Bank and Trust I will be doing what I enjoy most – taking care of my clients,” said Mr. Wade. “I am at a point in my career where I wanted a banking environment that affords more time and latitude for serving clients. During the process of considering a change in my career, I knew that I wanted to align myself with an organization that has talented people, a solid track record, and an excellent reputation. Commercial Bank and Trust has all this, and more.”

Dana Burkett is joining Commercial Bank and Trust and will specialize in commercial banking. Ms. Burkett has 10 years of banking experience and most recently has had a special focus on serving small businesses.

“Gerald, Mandy and I have worked closely together as a successful team for several years so it is very pleasing to have this opportunity to work together again,” notes Ms. Burkett.

“It is especially rewarding to be able to work in a banking environment where the customer relationship drives the process, instead of the more typical situation where the process drives the relationship. I really look forward to working with business of all sizes and assisting customers as they grow.”

Amanda (Mandy) Chatellier also joins the bank’s commercial team. Her most recent position was as an assistant vice president serving as a client manager. Prior to her banking career, Ms. Chatellier held pharmaceutical sales and management positions and brings that experience to the field of banking.

All three bankers are actively involved in the community. Mr. Wade currently serves on the board and executive committee of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra as well as on the Advisory Board of the Orpheum Theatre. Ms. Burkett is a board member of the Orpheum and is also a 2006 graduate of Leadership Memphis. She was named to the Top Forty Under 40 by the Memphis Business Journal in 2001. Ms. Chatellier has twice served as a corporate campaign chair for United Way.

“It is so clear that Commercial Bank and Trust is interested in people and providing them with the resources to excel,” said Mr. Wade. “I’m glad that we can bring our combined expertise and our formula for working as a team here.”

“I’m very impressed with the credibility and reputation of the bank’s existing staff,” adds Ms. Chatellier.

Commercial Bank and Trust was chartered in 1877. The bank has operations in Memphis, Paris, Henry and Union City and has just begun operations in Jackson, TN. The bank recently opened a new loan production office in DeSoto County MS.

Mott Ford is the Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Bank and Trust. In Memphis the bank has offices at 510 S. Mendenhall, 2000 Union Ave., and in the Morgan Keegan tower at 50 N. Front St.
