Marysville, OH — UniKeep, LLC, manufacturer of the award winning View Case Binder™ and an extensive line of unique, document storage & handling products, is pleased to announce the “Grand Prize” and “Best of Category” winners for the 2006 UniKeep Design Contest. The contest offers a $1,500 cash prize to the Grand Prize winner and a $500 cash prize to each overall Best of Category winner chosen from among the monthly winners in 2006. HOW Magazine was the sponsor for the 2006 Design Contest and Eric Rickabaugh, owner and creative director of Rickabaugh Graphics, was the celebrity judge.

The 2006 winning entries were announced in the January Issue of UniKeep eNews.

“The quality of entries for the contest continues to amaze and delight us. UniKeep users keep coming up with very creative designs and new organizational ideas. The contest enables our UniKeep users to show us new and innovative uses for our View Case Binders™,” said Ross Youngs, CEO of UniKeep and inventor of the UniKeep View Case Binder.

Gregory McQuay, a freelance artist and basketball player from Gary, Indiana, is the Grand Prize winner for 2006 with his Best of Category winning entry, “Mona Lisa”, in Arts & Entertainment. This entry was created with the fine artist in mind. Judges thought this entry was a beautiful and clever image and very appropriate for the category.

“I wanted to make a binder cover that could relate to any age group and have room for further customization,” says Gregory about his winning design. “The main intent was to portray expression and emotion using images from famous paintings giving my design a colorful and unique visual language. I used a combination of 2D and 3D techniques and the design itself symbolizes the artistic relationship between traditional and classical art forms,” said Gregory. “I really like the idea of customizing a binder cover because UniKeep’s clever means of storage makes organizing and managing the large amount of my sketches, drawings and illustrations a lot easier. And, with my own work displayed in a binder, it motivates me to continue to come up with new and fresh ideas,” added Gregory.
