Experts from BTG Enterprises Address Law Firms at Meritas

Atlanta-based BTG Enterprises’ Tim Ghioto, director of client services and David Troesch, networking technology specialist presented “Use of Technology in Law Firms” at the Meritas 2007 Southeast Regional Meeting on January 26 - 27. “Our goal was to give practical guidance on the technical business issues that small businesses, in particular, face.” The presentation covered a wide range of subjects that included the basics such as hardware selection and security to emerging trends like RSS feed and blogs for law firms (“blawgs”).

“In our business, we see a lot of clients who get so overwhelmed by trying to deicpher the technical jargon that they lose sight of the real business issues that lie at the heart of information technology,” says Ghioto. “David [Troesch] and I really wanted to make sure we delivered to the audience the information they sought from an unbiased source. As an independent consultancy, BTG Enterprises always has to ensure that the technology doesn’t get detached from the core needs of the business professional.”
