WINNEKER RETURNS TO THE MARKETING ARM AS VP FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

DALLAS –- Omnicom’s The Marketing Arm has named Mark Winneker vice president, business development. Winneker, who served as director of consulting for The Marketing Arm from 1999-2004, will be responsible for cultivating new and emerging areas of marketing expertise for the agency.

Winneker will also support efforts towards new client acquisition and evaluating emerging business opportunities.

Winneker left The Marketing Arm in 2004 to form Rocketpath Marketing. Rocketpath supported the sponsorship and marketing initiatives for Hall of Fame Racing, a NASCAR team co-owned by former Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman.

As director of consulting at The Marketing Arm, he served as a lead strategic advisor to several clients including Heinz, Office Depot, Nokia, Nissan and AT&T. Winneker also served as the architect for several proprietary analytical tools utilized to predict sponsorship ROI and measure sponsorship performance.

Prior to joining The Marketing Arm in 1999, Winneker was the regional manager for presence marketing for the Coca-Cola Company. He also served as a regional account supervisor for Wunderman Cato Johnson Sports Marketing on the Miller Brewing Company account.
