The Third Annual "Academy Aweirds" promises to poke fun at celebrity culture, E!Entertainment news, current films, Ellen Degeneres, and this years' Hollywood love-fest known as the Academy Awards.

Oscar's get in for free! If your name is Oscar, and you have proof, you can watch the performance as our guest. So Oscars, it's your night!

"We're continuing in our 15th season of humor at the expense of popular culture," says Laughing Gas Director Gerald Owens. "The Academy Awards makes a great target for us to lampoon."

"Comedies never seem to win," says cast member Gene Ballard. "It's time for the comedians to get their revenge."

"We would all want to be the ones being honored in Hollywood," says cast member Todd Rice. "But we're not, so we're going to poke fun at the ones who are."

Laughing Gas continues to aim its satirical weapons of Mass Media Destruction at the powers that be through their culturally relevant topical shows, charity shows as part of their "Improv-ing The Community" program, and regular performances in Miami Lakes.
