PokerNews Israel (http://il.pokernews.com) is one of a number of language websites that have recently been launched by PokerNews. PokerNews has launched over five dedicated language websites in the last six months – proof that the popularity of poker continues to grow worldwide. PokerNews Israel is one of the first Hebrew poker websites to be launched by a global media company.

Omar, the editor of PokerNews Israel, is excited about being involved with this new project,”We at Israel PokerNews hope to raise the awareness to poker in our country, as the game has just started to explode here in the last year or so. We are looking forward to bringing Israeli PokerNews readers the latest world and local poker news in Hebrew."

PokerNews currently provides websites for nationals of Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Russia, Sweden, Poland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Greece, Portugal, Estonia, Spain, China, Japan, Israel, Turkey and Romania. These sit alongside the English versions from the U.K, Australia and America. There are also a number of PokerNews language websites planned for launch in the coming months.
