NTEA Members Join Forces: WebApps and RAI Technology Form Strategic Partnership

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. —February 8, 2007— WebApps, Inc., a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS), with a major push in Time and Labor Management, announced its newest strategic partnership with RAI Technology, Inc., a Time and Attendance equipment dealer based outside of Chicago, IL. Both companies are members of the National Time Equipment Association (NTEA).

Beneficial to both parties, the partnership expands WebApps’ reach geographically while at the same time offers RAI Technology the opportunity to compete more effectively in the marketplace. “WebApps’ solution had more advantages than their competitors,” said RAI Technology owner Ron Henricksen. “With this application, we can offer our clients several different tools all bundled into one, complete package, which will save them time, effort, and money.”

Among several factors leading to the creation of this partnership, one of the major selling points was the fact that WebApps’ product is offered to the end-user only via sales generated through their partners. This means that there is never any direct competition between WebApps and any of its partners. “Consistent commitment to this business model has helped to attract and retain a strong and successful partner channel,” said WebApps’ CEO Bill Loss.

Also among key considerations in RAI Technology’s search for an alternate Time and Labor Management software vendor was the migration to a pure, web-based system. “In our pursuit of larger companies focused in the areas of manufacturing and distribution, a web-based system is an attractive alternative to an installed option based on affordability and other technical concerns,” said Henricksen.

With their stake mainly in offering Time and Attendance equipment (i.e. hardware), the choice to offer software that is related to the hardware ensures that RAI Technology will be able to compete in a marketplace that is moving toward becoming more technologically advanced. Offering a system that will interface with the hardware they provide will compliment their existing revenue stream and help keep RAI Technology in line with their clients’ technological demands as new advances are made.
