Princeton, NJ – February 7, 2007 – ePrep.com (www.eprep.com), a free website offering SAT prep and college planning advice, announces two new guest experts: Seamus Malin and PK Kennedy. Malin, formerly of Harvard University, and Kennedy, currently of Princeton University, have begun blogging on ePrep.com for the benefit of busy college-bound students and their parents. They join Fred Hargadon, former Dean of Admission at Princeton, and Don Betterton, former Director of Financial Aid at Princeton, as members of ePrep.com’s panel of college planning and test-prep experts.

Through ePrep.com’s unique mix of video and audio podcasts and written blog posts, Malin and Kennedy offer insightful, yet easy to understand, advice and commentary on issues related to college planning and test preparation. While Malin covers admissions topics like “The 18 Things You Should Know Junior Year in High School,” Kennedy tackles the task of helping visitors of all ages become better writers. As guests of ePrep.com, both Malin and Kennedy will also comment regularly on newsworthy issues.

Shortly after graduating from Harvard College (the undergraduate component of Harvard University) in 1962, Seamus Malin began a 40-year administrative career at his alma mater. From 1965 to 2005, he held high-ranking positions in financial aid, admissions, and the University’s international office. Throughout his time at Harvard, Malin was known as much for his wisdom and expertise as for his charming smile and endearing personality. He will focus his ePrep.com efforts on guiding families through the college admission process.

A lecturer for Princeton University’s Writing Program, PK Kennedy is a 1987 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Since earning two postgraduate degrees from American University in Washington, D.C., she has held various high school and college teaching positions at both public and private institutions. Kennedy is well known at Princeton University and in the greater Princeton area for her keen insights, passion for learning, and commitment to education. She will focus her ePrep.com efforts on helping students meet the writing challenges of high school courses, standardized tests, and college applications.

Karl Schellscheidt, who created ePrep.com as an extension of his successful private tutoring practice, feels the addition of Malin and Kennedy will add to the site’s already unrivaled resources for college-bound students and their parents. “In today’s competitive environment, families know that the most selective colleges require more than good grades and a laundry list of extracurricular activities. They require applicants to skillfully navigate the oft-complex and ever-changing fields of admissions, financial aid and standardized testing,” says Schellscheidt. “With expert advice and commentary from industry giants like Malin, Kennedy, Hargadon, and Betterton, ePrep.com has again raised the standard for offering visitors the resources they need to make college planning a positive and truly rewarding family experience.”

ePrep.com’s unique and interactive format provides students, parents, and industry professionals with direct access to sage advice and proven strategies any time and at absolutely no cost. In addition to access via the website, video and audio files are available from ePrep.com through an iTunes™ subscription for download to iPods™ and other electronic devices.
