DENVER ARTIST/AUTHOR FINISHED “ODDING”

February 08, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
Steve T. Laws a local 28 year old artist and poet, has just finished his first children’s book, “Odding.” An Art Instructor by day and an entrepreneur by night, this most recent year, he has been toiling away on the book. “I'm happy to say as of Halloween night 2006, I finished it!” Mirthfully adds Steve, “How appropriate considering Frankenstein’s birth?”

A compilation of whimsical illustrations each accompanied by narrative poetry, “Odding” invokes a fun and charming vision of the world. One can see echoes of Norman Rockwell’s influence in Steve’s artistic style with precocious touches of nostalgia placed here and again. His Poetry reflects Shel Silverstein’s playfulness and poignancy.

The book is ideal for children ages 10-13. “Odding” is full color, in hard cover, and for $40, a copy can be ordered on the internet at www.stevetlaws.com. With books being available in Denver stores soon.

Mr. Laws graduated high school in 1996 from Yampah Mountain High School in Glenwood Springs, Colorado and “proudly” dropped out of college in 1997. Since then, he has doggedly pursued an artistic identity by dedicating himself to the craft. Taking on odd jobs to financially get by until he could find his footing in the art world, he now introduces himself with his latest project

Currently self publishing, self distributing, and self promoting, you’ll find him all over the Denver area on a daily basis. To contact Steve T. Laws or to purchase a copy of “Odding”, please go to www.stevetlaws.com or email steve@stevetlaws.com
