Kim Bassett-Heitzmann has been named executive vice president at Bassett Mechanical. In this position, Bassett-Heitzmann will focus on day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives and assisting in a company leadership role.

Kim Bassett-Heitzmann joined Bassett Mechanical in 1996 as a maintenance sales representative. She then worked in the shop and out in the field alongside the sheet metal workers and pipe fitters, doing everything from assisting with the duct installations to working on rooftops for ammonia piping projects.

Bassett-Heitzmann has also served in the HVAC and refrigeration departments as an estimator and project manager. Following this, she worked for a year in business development before taking on the service sales manager role in 2004. Bassett-Heitzmann has a master’s degree in management technology with an emphasis in construction from the University of Wisconsin–Stout.

“Kim’s appointment as executive vice president is the next step to set the stage for Kim assuming the primary leadership role for the company,” says Bill Bassett, current president and CEO. “She developed a deep understanding of our business and has remarkable leadership abilities and experience.”
