February 12, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
The British Association of Communicators in Business (CiB) awards were announced on February 2nd with the top award for Corporate Video / Audio productions going to Midlands company iceni®

iceni® were presented with three awards in total at the gala event, which celebrates the very best in internal and corporate communications.

CiB Class winning film, ‘Are You Ready?’ had already received recognition from the US corporate film and video festival. Closer to home, this movie trailer style film wowed the judges with its innovative and effective approach to launching a £250 Million fleet of passenger trains.

iceni® also took the second place Award of Excellence in the Video / Audio category for ‘Including Children with Visual Impairment in Mainstream Schools’, a series of real life stories about children with different support needs successfully included in state schools.

This accessible DVD, produced for Action for Inclusion and Birmingham City Council, follows on from a series of programmes promoting inclusion of autistic and hearing impaired children in mainstream schools.

iceni’s third commendation was the Award of Excellence in the Electronic Media category for a popular podcast website, Kleeneze-stars.co.uk. Produced for Kleeneze UK, the website has become a hub for their sales teams based across Europe, giving access to hundreds of hours of motivational speeches recorded at events worldwide.

On the same day, over three thousand miles away at the New York Film and Video Festival awards another iceni® project was awarded a finalist certificate in the Employee Relations category. Commissioned for Kleeneze’s 2007 International Travel Incentive, The One&Only Mauritius was commended as among ‘The World’s Best Work’ in informational, educational, and industrial film and corporate video.

Cathy Bentley, Managing Director of iceni® says, ‘it’s an exciting start to 2007, receiving recognition from the CiB, the UK’s leading professional body for internal communication, and the New York Film and Video Festival on the same night.’

‘Looking to the future, we’re continuing to bring onboard new clients with exciting new projects. We're further establishing iceni® as an industry leader in the convergence of traditional video and film production crafts, digital design and innovative delivery avenues, producing the very best in effective visual communication.’
